Theaker’s Quarterly #44

Theakers-Quarterly-Fiction-44
Issue No.44 of the most excellent Theaker’s Quarterly Fiction magazine is out now, and can be downloaded free from here. And a very reasonably priced paper copy can be ordered here. This edition a features a short story of mine called “Black Sun”, about a planet slowly disintegrating due to its proximity to a black hole. Needless to say, it’s not really Science Fiction at all but yet another excuse for me to deconstruct the human condition as per usual. It’s a story about clinical depression I suppose, grieving and loss, love, and ultimately: guilt. The planet gets toasted in the end. So does the protagonist. But hey, he gets to meet God… or is it the devil? You decide. What’s not to love?
