With nice timing, the excellent “counter-cultural anti-pop journal” (sounds like a dream, doesn’t it?) POLLUTO Magazine, has just accepted the first chapter of Mechagnosis, happily and uncomplicatedly also titled “Mechagnosis”. This bodes well for the rest of the book of course.
Meanwhile, final paranoid proofing of “Sylvow” continues apace, while David Rix works up the cover and interior art (it’s looking tasty).
Talking of taste, it’s dinner in Edinburgh tomorrow night with Joy Hendry, editor of Chapman Magazine and godmother of my first novel “Ultrameta”…. no doubt the woeful state of Scotland’s insular literary culture will be on the menu!
